The recurring foot injury really put an end to my 10k jogging ambitions but I've discovered a glimmer of hope!
I did a lot of swimming over the summer to try and strengthen my foot, which has been great, but anything even of moderate impact has proved too much for it really.
But the answer, as to so many things in life I'm sure, may lie with a wonderful pair of new shoes...
My new Sketchers Shape-Ups are an absolute dream! Yes, there the one's that are suppoesed to help tone your legs and bum as you walk but they're proving to be a real comfort for the old foot.
So my legs (particularly my calves) feel like rock but not a peep from the foot!
